Who has had the most influence on your career?

My brother. He made me want to play hockey in the first place when we were both really young. Ever since he’s always been a role model for work ethic, perseverance, and leadership.

What did you want to be when you were growing up?

My mom and dad are a nurse and police officer, respectively so for the longest time I flip flopped between those two.

Does pineapple belong on pizza?

Only if it’s a Hawaiian pizza.

Is a hot dog a sandwich?

Absolutely not.

Piece of Advice

What advice do you have for young girls that want to become professional hockey players some day?

Remember that you’re playing hockey because it’s fun. Don’t let anything or anyone get in the way of that!
